Crochet your own pear coaster with my original MROZCI pattern. The pear is finished with a small leaf, stem and hand-embroidered outlines. You can use it as a coaster for your coffee or tea, or as a decoration in your kitchen. I designed and crocheted the original pear myself, photographed the entire process and prepared this pattern from my own work. The instructions include photographs of the actual steps, from crocheting the pear to adding the final embroidered details.

Materials
I used Schachenmayr Catania, 100% cotton yarn, in yellow (Sonne 00208), light green (Apfel 00205) and brown (Marone 00157).
You will also need 4.25 mm and 2.25 mm crochet hooks, black embroidery floss, matching sewing threads, needles, a stitch marker and scissors.
You can use other colours or a similar-weight cotton yarn. One 50 g ball of yellow Catania is enough for approximately three pear coasters.
